1 John 1
May our fellowship be with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. May our joy be full.
May we know Your light for in You is no darkness at all.
Help us not to walk in darkness, but may we walk in the light as You are in the light, so that we would have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ would cleanse us from all sin.
Where we have sinned, You Lord are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 2
Where we have sinned, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. You, Lord are the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Help us to keep Your commandments, so that the love of God is perfected in us. May we walk just as You walked.
Help us not to hate our brethren but love them and abide in the light. Let the darkness not blind our eyes.
Thank You that our sins are forgiven us for Your Name’s sake.
May we know You who is from the beginning, and may we overcome the wicked one. May we be strong, and may the word of God abide is us, and overcome the wicked one.
Help us not to love the world or the things in the world. Keep us from all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Help us to do Your will so that we may abide forever.
May we have an anointing from the Holy One and know all things. Let the anointing which we have received from You abide in us and let the same anointing teach us concerning all things and help us abide in You.
Help us to practice righteousness and be born of You.
1 John 3
Help us to put our hope in You, and purify ourselves, just as You are pure.
Help us not to commit lawlessness.
May we abide in You and not sin. May we practice righteousness.
May we be born of God, and may we love others. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.
May we lay down our lives for the brethren. May we help those who are in need and love in deed and in truth.
May we keep Your commandments and do those things that are pleasing in Your sight. May we believe on the Name of Jesus Christ and love one another, as You gave us commandment.
May You abide in us by the Spirit whom You have given us.
1 John 4
Teach us to test the spirits, whether they are of God because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
You who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, and we are of You, oh God.
May we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Help us to love one another, for love is of You, and everyone who loves is born of You and knows You.
You have loved us and ask that You help us to love one another. If we love one another, You abide in us, and Your love has been perfected in us.
We have known and believed the love that You have for us. May we abide in love by abiding in You, and You in us.
May Your perfect love cast out all fear, because fear involves torment, and if we fear we have not been made perfect in love.
Help us to love others as You have loved us.
1 John 5
Help us to love You and to love Your commandments. Help us to keep Your commandments that are not burdensome. As we are born of You, we overcome the world.
May we have faith and believe in You so as not to make You a liar by unbelief.
May we have Jesus Christ and have life.
May we ask for all we ask according to Your will.
May we be born of God that we would not sin and that the wicked one would not touch us.
May we receive an understanding, that we may know You who is true, and we are in You who is true.
Help us to keep ourselves from idols.
2 John
May we know the truth, and may Your truth be with us forever
May grace, mercy, and peace be with us from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, in truth and love.
May we walk in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.
May we love one another and walk according to His commandments.
Keep us from deceivers who have gone out into the world.
May we not transgress but abide in the doctrine of Christ.
May we not share in the evil deeds of others.
3 John
May we prosper in all things and be in health.
May we walk in the truth.
Help us not to imitate what is evil, but what is good, for he who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.
