Prayers from Ezekiel

Ezekiel 3

• Help us to turn from iniquity and to heed every warning to turn from iniquity, that we would not die in iniquity. Those of any of us that have been made watchmen, help us all to warn both the righteous and the unrighteous of all iniquity.

Ezekiel 6

• We ask for Your forgiveness, for the high places and evil altars we exalted or continue to exalt.

• We ask Your forgiveness for the idols and images we exalted or continue to exalt.

• We pray these high places would be desolate and that these altars may be laid waste and made desolate and that the idols would be broken and cease, and that these images would be cut down, and that all our evil works would be abolished.

• Forgive us for whorish hearts that have departed from You and for our eyes that have gone whoring after idols.

• Help us to know that You are God.

  
  

Ezekiel 11

• Give us one heart, and put a new spirit within us, and take the stony heart out of our flesh, and give us a heart of flesh, that we may walk in Your statutes and keep Your judgments and do them, and we shall be Your people, and You will be our God.

Ezekiel 36

• Lord, we pray that You would sprinkle clean water on us, so we shall be clean. Cleanse us from all our filthiness and from all our idols. Give us new hearts and put new spirits within us. Take the heart of stone out of our flesh and give us hearts of flesh. Put Your Spirit within us and cause us to walk in Your statutes, so we will keep Your judgments and do them. Let us be Your people, and You be our God. Deliver us from all our uncleanness.

Ezekiel 37

• Lord, let the dry bones live. We prophesy to the dry bones and command them to hear the Word of the Lord. Cause breath to enter into dry bodies, let the dry bones live.

• Lay sinews upon them and bring flesh upon them, cover them with skin and put breath in them that they will live and know You are God

• Lay sinews upon us and bring flesh upon us, cover us with skin and put breath in us that we will live and know You are God

• Let the four winds breathe upon us and upon the dry places and upon the dry lungs that we all may live, that we may stand up and become an exceeding great army

• Lord, open the graves where we have been buried and bring us into the lands You have for us

• Put Your Spirit in us that we may live and prosper in our own lands

• Help us not to defile ourselves anymore with idols or detestable things or with any transgressions. Deliver us from all dwelling places in which we have sinned, and cleanse us. Let us be Your people, and be our God.

Ezekiel 39

• According to our uncleanliness and according to our transgressions, You turned and hid Your Face from us. Bring us out of captivity and have mercy upon our whole house

• Gather us back out of our enemies' lands and sanctify us

• Hide Your Face from us no more and pour out Your Spirit upon or houses

Ezekiel 43

• Let the earth shine with Your Glory

• Let Your Glory fill our houses

• Lord, help us to put away our whoredoms and the carcasses of our sins that You may dwell in the midst of us forever
