A prayer to be holy and sanctified to the LORD.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” (Isaiah 6:3)

Receive Holy Spirit Guidance

  • Let Your Holy Spirit help us to pray because Your Word says that we do not know how to pray as we ought but that the Holy Spirit helps in our weaknesses and makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26)

  • Let the Holy Spirit make intercession through and for us according to the will of God (Romans 8:27)

  • Let the Holy Spirit guide us into all the truth and declare to us the things that are to come (John 16:13)

  • Let the Holy Spirit baptize us fully as with the apostles, let tongues of Holy Spirit fire rest upon each of us and let us receive Your Holy Spirit power so that we are led by the Holy Spirit in everything pertaining to this life (Acts 1:5-8 & Acts 2:1-4)

Prayer for Sanctification & Holiness

  1. Help us to consecrate ourselves, therefore, and be holy, for You are the Lord our God (Leviticus 20:7).

  2. Help us to keep our way pure by guarding it according to your Word (Psalm 119:9).

  3. Help us to be perfect, as our heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48)

  4. May we be sanctified in the truth for Your Word is truth (John 17:17).

  5. Help us to be set free from sin and become slaves of God, so that the fruit we get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life (Romans 6:22).

  6. Help us to keep the law that is holy, and the commandment that is holy and righteous and good (Romans 7:12).

  7. Help us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our spiritual worship (Romans 12:1).

  8. God's temple is holy, and we are that temple (1 Corinthians 3:17).

  9. Help us to be washed, to be sanctified, to be justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11).

  10. Let us remain in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30), who suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through His own blood (Hebrews 13:12).

  11. Help us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1).

  12. Help us to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24).

  13. May the God of peace Himself sanctify us completely, and may our whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

  14. May we be saved through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13).

  15. Help us to cleanse ourselves from what is dishonorable, to be vessels for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21).

  16. We pray that You may discipline us for our good, that we may share Your Holiness (Hebrews 12:10).

  17. May we be sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all (Hebrews 12:14).

  18. Help us to strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

  19. According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood, may grace and peace be multiplied to us (1 Peter 1:2).

  20. Help us to be holy in all our conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15-16).
