Receive Holy Spirit Guidance

  • Let Your Holy Spirit help us to pray because Your Word says that we do not know how to pray as we ought but that the Holy Spirit helps in our weaknesses and makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26)

  • Let the Holy Spirit make intercession through and for us according to the will of God (Romans 8:27)

  • Let the Holy Spirit guide us into all the truth and declare to us the things that are to come (John 16:13)

  • Let the Holy Spirit baptize us fully as with the apostles, let tongues of Holy Spirit fire rest upon each of us and let us receive Your Holy Spirit power so that we are led by the Holy Spirit in everything pertaining to this life (Acts 1:5-8 & Acts 2:1-4)


Prayer For Guidance

  • You in Your mercy lead forth the people whom You have redeemed, You guide us in Your strength to Your Holy Habitation (Exodus 15:13)

  • Help us to perceive when You speak in one way and in another, in a dream, in a vision in the night, when deep sleep falls upon us as we slumber on our beds (Job 33:14-15)

  • Open our ears and terrify us with warnings to turn us from wrongdoing and keep us from pride, to preserve our souls from the Pit (Job 33:15-18)

  • Let there be a messenger for us, a mediator, one among a thousand, to show us uprightness (Job 33:23)

  • May we be turned by Your Guidance, that we may do whatever You command us on the face of the whole earth (Job 37:12)


  • Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths (Psalm 119:105)

  • Lead us, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of our enemies, make Your way straight before our faces (Psalm 5:8)

  • Make us to know Your ways, O Lord. Teach us Your paths. Lead us in Your truth and teach us, for You are the God of our salvation and for You we wait all the day long. Help us to be humble and guide us in justice, for the humble You teach Your way (Psalm 25:4-5 & 9)

  • For You are our rock and our fortress, therefore, for Your name’s sake, lead us and guide us (Psalm 31:3)

  • For You will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go, You will counsel us with Your Eye upon us (Psalm 32:8)

  • For You are God, our God forever and ever, You will be our guide even to death (Psalm 48:14)

  • Guide us with Your counsel, and afterward receive us to glory (Psalm 73:24)

  • Make us know the way we should go, for to You we lift up our souls (Psalm 143:8)


  • May our ears hear a word behind us, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when we turn to the right or when we turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21)

  • Let us neither hunger nor thirst, let neither heat nor sun strike us, for You who has mercy on us will lead us, even by the springs of water You will guide us (Isaiah 49:10)

  • Guide us continually, and satisfy our souls in drought, and strengthen our bones so that we shall be like watered gardens, and like springs of water, whose waters do not fail (Isaiah 58:11)

  • Give light to where we are sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death, guide our feet into the way of peace (Luke 1:79)
