Infilling of The Holy Spirit

Lord, baptize us with the Holy Spirit and with fire, as John baptized with water (Matthew 3:11).


For You promised that if we who are evil know how to give good gifts to our children, that You, oh God, our Father in heaven would that much more give Holy Spirit to those who ask You, so we ask, oh God, that You would give us the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13).


May we decrease so that You may increase (John 3:30).


We wait for the gift of the Holy Spirit that You our Father promised. Where John baptized with water, let we too be baptized with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5).


May we receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, and let us be Your witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).


Enable us to be Your servants, and to speak Your word with complete boldness, as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the Name of Your holy servant Jesus Christ. Let our places be shaken, and let us all be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak the word of God boldly (Acts 4:29-31).


Let us be Your witnesses and give us the Holy Spirit, whom You give to those who obey You (Acts 5:32). Help us to obey You so that we would receive Your Holy Spirit.


Let us not be controlled by the flesh, but by the Holy Spirit. Let Your Spirit, oh God live in us. As You Christ are in us, let our bodies die to sin, and our spirits live to righteousness. Let the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead live in us, and also give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in us (Romans 8:9).


May we always carry about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus Christ may also be manifested in our bodies. May we who live always be delivered to death for the sake of Jesus Christ, so that the life of Jesus Christ also may be manifested in our mortal flesh (2 Corinthians 4:10-11).


May we live no longer live for ourselves, but for You who died for us and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:15).


Lord, we pray, let us be filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).



  • Thank You Holy Spirit for speaking to us, leading us and guiding us.

  • Thank You that You promised to give The Holy Spirit to all who ask.

    • Thank You that we have asked and will receive.

  • Thank You Jesus Christ for sending us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in all truth.

  • Thank You that The Holy Spirit will give us boldness to speak Your Word and win souls to the Kingdom of Heaven.

  • Thank You for the fire baptism of The Holy Spirit.

  • Thank You that the Spirit of God dwells in us.

  • Thank You for teaching us to obey You, that we may receive The Holy Spirit.

  • Thank You Holy Spirit for helping us to pray when we do not know how to pray as we ought, for groaning for us with utterances we know not.

  • Thank You for baptizing us with fire and for all gifts You have ordained for us.
