Receive Holy Spirit Guidance

  • Let Your Holy Spirit help us to pray because Your Word says that we do not know how to pray as we ought but that the Holy Spirit helps in our weaknesses and makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26)

  • Let the Holy Spirit make intercession through and for us according to the will of God (Romans 8:27)

  • Let the Holy Spirit guide us into all the truth and declare to us the things that are to come (John 16:13)

  • Let the Holy Spirit baptize us fully as with the apostles, let tongues of Holy Spirit fire rest upon each of us and let us receive Your Holy Spirit power so that we are led by the Holy Spirit in everything pertaining to this life (Acts 1:5-8 & Acts 2:1-4)

Adapted from Daniel 9

4 Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with those who love Him and keep His commandments,

5 We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled, we have turned away from Your commands and laws.

6 We have not listened to &our servants who spoke in Your Name to us, our ancestors, and to all the people of our bloodline.

7 Lord, You are righteous, but [...]

8 We and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against You.

9 You are merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against You.

10 We confess that we have not obeyed You or kept the laws You gave us through Christ, and through all Your servants.

11 We have transgressed Your Word and turned away, refusing to obey You. Therefore the curses and judgments written in Your Word, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against You.

[... ]

15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for Yourself a name that endures to this day, although we have sinned and done wrong,

16 Lord, in keeping with all Your righteous acts, turn away Your anger and Your wrath from us. [...] our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors [...]

17 Hear the prayers and petitions of Your servants. For Your sake, Lord, look with favor on us.

18 Give ear, our God, and hear, [...] We do not make requests of You because we are righteous, but because of Your great mercy.

Forgive us, oh Lord.

Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers in the Name of Jesus Christ - Amen!
