Your Will Be Done

Receive Holy Spirit Guidance

• Let Your Holy Spirit help us to pray because Your Word says that we do not know how to pray as we ought but that the Holy Spirit helps in our weaknesses and makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26)

• Let the Holy Spirit make intercession through and for us according to the will of God (Romans 8:27)

• Let the Holy Spirit guide us into all the truth and declare to us the things that are to come (John 16:13)

• Let the Holy Spirit baptize us fully as with the apostles, let tongues of Holy Spirit fire rest upon each of us and let us receive Your Holy Spirit power so that we are led by the Holy Spirit in everything pertaining to this life (Acts 1:5-8 & Acts 2:1-4)

Prayer For His Will

We give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your Will in Christ Jesus for us (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Teach us to do Your Will, for You are our God, may Your good Spirit lead us on level ground (Psalm 143:10). We know that whoever does the Will of God, is the brother and sister and mother of Christ (Mark 3:35). We seek Your Will in all we do, and believe You will show us which path to take (Proverbs 3:6). Many are the plans in our minds, but it is Your purpose oh Lord that will stand (Proverbs 19:21). We know that You can do all things and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted (Job 42:1-2).

Help us not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewal of our minds, that by testing we may discern what is the Will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2). Help us not to be foolish, but to understand what Your Will is (Ephesians 5:17). May we take joy in doing Your Will, my God, for Your instructions are written on our hearts (Psalm 40:8). May we live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for Your Will (1 Peter 4:2).

We have need of endurance, so that when we have done Your Will we may receive what is promised (Hebrews 10:36). For Your Will is that by doing good we should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people -- help us to do the good You need us to do (1 Peter 2:15). And if we have to suffer for doing good, if that should be Your Will, then give us the grace to go through it because it is better than suffering for doing evil (1 Peter 3:17).

Father, as You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), help us to go into all the earth and preach the gospel to all creation that You've ordained will receive the gospel through us (Mark 16:15).

As the world passes away along with its desires, we know that when we do Your Will, we will abide forever (1 John 2:17).

Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers and doing Your Will in our lives. We receive Your Will in the Name of Jesus Christ - Amen!
